NECK PLATE 
あまりにもこのパーツはサウンドにおいて重要視されていないと思います。
プレートと4本のネジの単純な構成を持つパーツですがネックとボディーを接合する役割をしています。
この機構のおかげでボルトオンネックのギターはセットネックのギターには無い独特のサウンドになりました。
リシューパーツはプレートが柔らかく振動を伝えきれない感覚さえ抱きます。
ヴィンテージのプレートは薄いにも関わらず、張りがあり固く、ボディーにめり込む事が少ないです。
その事はギターのネックとボディーの調整を可能にします。
F社のギターはネックとボディーがセパレートが故に独特の鳴りがあります。
ボディーとの接合が良いとボディーのサウンドを聞く事が出来ます。
硬度調査した金属を使用しメッキにも拘りました。ヴィンテージのプレートの張りと堅さを再現しています

Neck plates are probably not regarded as greatly affecting the tone of a guitar, however these serve to join the neck and body. Because of this, bolt-on neck guitars sound different that set neck guitars. Reissue plates are soft and can even give a sensation that the vibration from the strings is not completely transmitted. Vintage plates, even when thin, are hard and tight and do not dig into the body, and this can effect the sound of the instrument. Because the neck and body are separate, bolt-on neck guitars have a distinct sound. The sound of a guitar with good body to neck contact is noticable. まずメッキの仕様を考えました。ヴィンテージサドルは鉄に直接ニッケルメッキがかかっています。
月桃サドルも同じくプレスしたサドルに直接ニッケルメッキをかけています。
リイッシューものサドルはメッキの美しさを優先し下地に銅をメッキした物を多くみます。
これはサウンドに影響すると思っています。
プレスの型を出すのに苦労しました。弦を通す穴の位置にも気をくばりました。
リイッシューのサドルはこの穴のエッジに弦が当たります。ここで弦がよく切れます。
ヴィンテージのサドルはこの穴のエッジに弦が当たりません。

On the original 1960s saddles, nickel was directly plated on steel. We also directly nickel plate our pressed steel saddles. Reissue saddles often are first plated with copper to enhance the appearance. We believe that this influences the tone. We placed great effort toward making our press template. We also gave thought to string hole placement. On reissue saddles, the strings contact the edge of the hole, which can lead to string breakage. 成分調査したJIS規格の鉄を使っています。 ヴィンテージ60'Sのブロックの成分調査をしました。そして殆ど同じとも言える成分の金属を発見しました。 しかしギター製作家としての興味はヴィンテージと同じ成分の物がギターとしての最良の材料かを検証しなければなりません。 JIS規格上類似した数種類の金属もサウンド検証しましたがブラインドテストを数人で行い、耳で検証すると心地の良い響きはヴィンテージのそれと同じ成分 の鉄を選ぶ事になりました。 調査の結果は非常にレアな金属でした。たかが鉄、スティールなのですが。 そして弦のテンション感と響きを同じにする為にブロック内で弦のエンドが止まる位置を考えました。 ＜English＞Our inertia blocks are machined from JIS analyzed and certified steel. We analyzed a 60s vintage block and from those results found steel of largely identical composition and characteristics. Although a vintage guitar builder is interested in using identical material, in order to determine what actually delivers the best tone requires experimentation. Several comparable alloys were examined in a blind sound check by several people, and the material which gave the most pleasing tone was selected. The chosen metal was a rather uncommon alloy.
